Atlas of Transitions Festival in Warsaw

Incredible Paths

During the multidisciplinary festival 'A Taste of the Other', Le Channel Scène Nationale de Calais invited people on a journey with an unusual itinerary along which they could meet four people who each have a unique point of view, an experience and a certain knowledge on the much-debated topic of migration. The “incredible paths” was an opportunity to create a space where short testimonials and concise reflections that shed light on questions raised by intercontinental migrations can be shared.

Forum Theatre in High Schools

In January Forum Theatre workshops were organised by Tjeter Vizion NGO at the Children Culture center - Ex Youth Center " Riemar" in Elbasan, involving a group of 10 university students, mainly with social work background. During the workshops, the group of participants worked on the creation of a performance exploring solutions to discrimination and exclusion, to be presented in various high schools in February and March 2019 in Gramsh, Elbasan, Cerrik.

20th Skampa International Theatre Festival

During the 20th Edition of Skampa International Theatre Festival about 15 performances and various workshops took place, not only in the city of Elbasan, but also in other cities, such as Cërrik, Librazhd and Gramsh. 'Le Channel' has co-produced a performance dealing with the context of intercontinental migration - to especially speak to children about the matter- together with the Company ‘Les petites boîtes’. Delightful dance at school

Backa Theater and Twisted Feet have recently started a series of workshops with young people and amateurs to reflect on encounters, courage and hope within the current migration-related context - through dance. The workshop for young people 'Atlante', location scouting for a documentary film, led by ZimmerFrei, concerns the observation of places, photo taking, sound recording, and film documentation in Bologna. Through this workshop, the city becomes a map of special sites - spatial nodes that open up to possibilities - where ordinary and memorable events have certainly happened.

Théâtre de Liège has recently ended a rich programme of workshops with students and migrants at Institut Don Bosco and Athénée Royal Liège Atlas, two secondary schools in Liège. Led by school teachers, the workshops were organised together with the Centre pour Réfugiés de la Croix Rouge and the cultural associations Voix des Sans Papiers and Bobine.
