A unique project in the Arab World, Studio Emad Eddin (SEE) was funded by the independent theater Egyptian director, Ahmed El Attar. SEE provides rehearsal, training, and residency space to independent troupes and artists in the field of performing arts in Egypt, in the Arab World and, in the case of residencies, to professionals from abroad.

 The aim of Studio Emad Eddin is to strengthen the sector of performing arts in Egypt by advocating cooperation and trust among artists, policies of open access, and by promoting contacts and professional links among Egyptian, regional, and international artists. The Studio Emad Eddin’s mission is to support the creation of an artistic and cultural atmosphere, neutral and alternative, that intends to expand the development of artistic practices and help independent performing artists in Egypt connect their artistic productions to the outside world.
